Officially called the M1961 Cartridge belt, it is different to the Army M1956 USMC M1961 webbing belt this is the standard equipment belt issued to the US Marines in the 1960's during the Vietnam war. Officially called the M1961 All M1961 cartridge belts, from development to obsolescence, were made with cotton webbing. Each Marine rifleman was issued with 4 magazine pouches for the M14 rifle, each pouch holds 1 M14 magazine.
