Drz 400 Wont Idle, It just wouldn't.

Drz 400 Wont Idle, I replaced/cleaned most of my carb besides the jets, and it started right up. (1300 miles) It runs very well except: 1. My bike sat around a good bunch of years, old gas left in it and all. Checked for air leaks with starter fluid all around the I thought the problem was my air/fuel screw (at bottom of the carb bowl) wasn't backed out enough, but it turned out to be just my idle being too low. Brand new drz400 won't crank without throttle. If those seem alright, I'd take the card apart and clean the jets. I cleaned the carb and replaced the pilot jet and blew out the carb really I'll let it idle for 5-10 minutes or so and take off. seafoam cleans residues, at best.
