How to use gamsol. Gamsol is the most refined (safest) artist grade brand of odorless mineral spirits. Oil painting mediums and solvents like Liquin, Maroger, Venice Turpentine, Gamsol, or Oleogel are used by tens of thousands of artists around the world. This marker comes empty and you can fill it up with Gamsol to create a blending marker (see filling instructions in the video). You can thin out your oils, modify your painting mediums and even clean your brushes.
